This sculpture is a ragged composition of visual elements that symbolically arise from a certain time in the progression of audio producing technology. Undulating

by Woody Stauffer

This sculpture is a ragged composition of visual elements that symbolically arise from a certain time in the progression of audio producing technology. The cast iron segment in the middle is made through the sand molding of the plastic structural form of the back of old (approximately late 1990s) plastic computer speakers.

This piece was constructed through a hodgepodge of thoughts and feelings pertaining to the force of music, the slow rot of time, and our never-ending search for new and better technology.
